Water-based PVA for hardwood joinery

Premium Professional Wood Glue is a water-based PVA adhesive for bonding hardwoods to each other — mahogany, oak, teak, sapele, iroko and meranti. It is the grade to use in furniture framing, table and chair production, and anywhere a solvent-free process is required. Apply to one surface, clamp for at least 30 minutes and leave 24 hours before loading the joint.

Common questions

My joint failed — why?

Almost always insufficient clamping. PVA needs at least 30 minutes clamped and a full 24 hours before the joint takes load.

Premium or Superior?

Premium Professional for hardwoods. Superior Wood Joinery for softwoods — cedar, douglas fir, juniper, yew, pine and hemlock.
